The State of Israel is truly an historical wonder, a realization of an ancient-modern dream in an ancient-modern land. As such, it has encountered many unique challenges—both internally and externally—since its founding. Underlying the task of contending with these challenges are complex layers of identity. Leading the State of Israel and Israeli society necessitates a values-based worldview and a well-developed identity alongside professional knowledge and personal leadership skills.
We at the Jewish Statesmanship Center invest in the development of Israeli leadership which has a well-developed Jewish and Zionist vision. The Center is geared toward outstanding students from the humanities, social sciences and law, who see their future in Israel's public service. The Center’s programs give the students the cultural, intellectual and personal tools, throughout their studies and on to their placement in the academic or public sphere.
