מעיל רוח- התכנית להכשרת הפיקוד הבכיר בצה"ל
המציאות הישראלית במאה ה-21 מציבה בפני מפקדי צה"ל אתגר חדש - עליהם לכונן ליבה ערכית משותפת עבור החיילים שבאחריותם ולחזק את החוסן החברתי הישראלי המשותף. זהו אתגר מורכב הן כלפי פנים והן כלפי חוץ. כלפי פנים, נדרש המפקד להוות עוגן זהותי וערכי בקרב חייליו, עבור מגוון גדול של זהויות ועמדות ערכיות. כלפי חוץ, נדרש המפקד לקחת בחשבון בהובלתו הערכית גורמי השפעה רבים ומגוונים.
המכללה למדינאות הינה ספק מורשה של משרד הביטחון ומפקדת קצין החינוך והנוער הראשי.

מה ייחודי בתכנית?
1. בין זהות ישראלית וחינוך
אנו מתמחים בתחומי היסטוריה ומחשבה ציונית, קבוצות בחברה הישראלית, מוסר ואתיקה.
2. סמסטר ביום, חווית למידה ממצה
זמן הוא משאב יקר, לא תאמינו כמה אפשר ללמוד בשעה, הרצאה או יום לימודים.
3. שיטת ההוראה [הפדגוגיה]
יום לימודים במכללה הוא מסע פעיל ומאתגר. הלומדים נחשפים לתוכן עיוני, תוך עיבוד אישי ודיון קבוצתי - והופכים אותו לפרקטיקה.

המכון לאתיקה ויחסים בינלאומיים
המכון לאתיקה ויחסים בינלאומיים נוסד בשנת תשע"ה במכללה למדינאות במטרה ללבן סוגיות מתחום היחסים הבינלאומיים שיש להם היבטים אתיים, ולבחון את המקום הראוי של שיקולים אתיים בתחום מדיניות חוץ. המכון מתמקד בגיבוש עקרונות מנחים למדיניות חוץ מוסרית בהקשר הישראלי, ובהתאם לכך מקיים דיונים ומפרסם מחקרים בתחומים אלו.
בראש המכון עומד ד"ר אסף מלאך, ראש המכללה.

Leadership Development
Leadership development requires not only in-depth knowledge of theoretical topics, but also the acquisition of practical tools. Therefore, in addition to theoretical studies, the college will emphasize the development of the students’ personal skills and abilities. In the course of their studies, the students will participate in workshops on public speaking, interpersonal communication, presentation, article and speech writing, negotiating, debating, decision-making under pressure, strategic planning and leadership and administering a staff. In addition, several educational field trips will be conducted in order to gain first-hand knowledge of the study topics, and to contribute to the social consolidation of the study group.
Economy and Society
The economy has always been the linchpin upon which every society and country revolves. Economics are behind the apparent and hidden cause of social and political and governmental changes. Hence, it is self-evident that economics affect and sustain all aspects of society, policy and culture in Israel, just as in every other country.
This unit deals with various theories and models for the administration and development of a national economy. Various economic-social theories will be analyzed regarding the Israeli economy, and discussion will focus on the connection between policy and the economy, and the implications the political processes have for the Israeli economy
Media and the Public Discourse in Israel
Despite Israel’s definition as a free and democratic country, it is an open secret that a particular element of society that has a clear and declared agenda dominates without challenge the main junctures of the state – in the media, the economy, the legal system and culture. The power apparatuses in the State are interconnected and within every system, mutually sustaining official and unofficial forces can be found. The most severe consequence is evident in the extensive ties between capital and government and in the legal system and the media, which are mobilized to promote the values of the Left.
This unit deals with the various power apparatuses in Israel and analyzes the methods employed by the media in Israel, their reciprocal relations with other systems, the influence of post-Zionism on Israeli literature and culture, and how all these impact and shape public opinion in Israel.
